The function of the automobile ignition system distributor is to connect and disconnect the low-voltage electricity and distribute the high voltage generated by the ignition coil to the spark plugs of each cylinder according to the ignition sequence of the engine.

Distributor ignition coils are used to switch on and off the low-voltage circuit so that the ignition coil generates high-voltage current, and according to the ignition sequence of the engine, the high-voltage electricity is distributed to the spark bags of each cylinder within a specified time to ignite the mixture.

The distributor is composed of a circuit breaker, distributor, capacitor, and ignition advance adjustment device. The function of the circuit breaker is to control the on-off of the primary circuit of the ignition coil, thereby inducing high voltage in the secondary circuit. It consists of a circuit breaker cam connected in series in the primary winding circuit of the ignition coil

Composed of circuit breaker contacts and circuit breaker moving contact arms. The number of lobes of the broken cam is equal to the number of cylinders of the engine, so each cylinder of the engine can be ignited once in a working cycle. A circuit breaker is equivalent to a switch controlled by a circuit breaker cam. The function of the distributor is to distribute the high-voltage electricity generated by the ignition coil to the spark plugs of each cylinder according to the requirements of the ignition sequence of the engine. The dispenser consists of a dispenser cap and a dispenser head. The distributor cover has a central pole and several side poles, and the distributor's head is mounted on the extended shaft of the breaker cam. During the working process of the engine, when the distributor is connected to a certain side electrode, the high-voltage electricity generated by the secondary winding of the ignition coil is sent to the cylinder connected to the side electrode through the center electrode on the distributor cover, the distributor, the side electrode and the high-voltage line of spark plugs.
